The "Get Out of the Doghouse" contest begins Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, and ends noon Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010. The entry deadline is noon Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010. One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be expunged. No purchase necessary.
The prize: One $250 Posh Salon & Spa certificate to the entrant with the best essay of 100 words or less about how you got in the doghouse with the person you love. A Herald-Leader panel of judges will select the winner.
By entering, you confirm and represent that you meet the age eligibility requirement of 18 years of age or older. You waive any potential legal claims, hold harmless and will not attempt to hold the Herald-Leader, Kentucky.com and Posh Salon & Spa, their employees, agents and assigns liable.
Employees of the Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com, their distributors, contractors, agents, immediate families and household members are ineligible. Winner will be notified by phone by a Herald-Leader employee. Assumed notification by caller ID and any subsequent returned calls do not constitute a winner.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. No substitutions for prize.
By entering, you allow Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com to use your name and address for marketing purposes, and the winner grants Kentucky.com and the Herald-Leader the right to use their names and/or likenesses for promotional purposes without further compensation.
Winner may be required to sign a statement of eligibility and a liability release prior to receiving prizes. Entrants agree that Kentucky.com, the Herald-Leader, Posh Salon & Spa, their subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for, and will be held harmless against, any and all claims for injury, loss or damage of any kind - including, but not limited to, postponement or cancellation of the giveaway - resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this contest/giveaway or from acceptance or use of prizes.
